FREAKING INCREDIBLE

I've recently acquired the INCREDIBLE by HTC and am thoroughly pleased. Everyday I discover something new or cool that it's capable of. Check e-mail, text, IM, play an app game, customize my home page, talk on the phone, take a picture all while listening to Pandora via Bluetooth through my car stereo. I have absolutely no complaints about this device. By far the best phone I've ever had.

I'm not sure how anyone can NOT be happy with this phone. Thanks for your reply. I think people don't take the time to research a phone's capabilities and software platforms before they make the decision to buy it. Make informed decisions people!

I, too, loved the phone before the 2.2 operating system upgrade.  Now that my calendar on my phone will not sync with my calendar on Outlook on my work computer, it is unsatisfactory.  An accurate calendar on the phone is a 100% requirement for my use, and most everyone, too.  Verizon tells me it will be addressed in a future update.  I won't be able to operate longer than a few days with this situation, and with the lack of information on any fix, I am not very hopeful.

I had the same problem when I upgraded to 2.2. I couldn't sync with Outlook on my desktop. I took the drastic meaure of a hard reboot and reset to factory settings. I had to start from scratch but it worked and the phone is syncing perfectly. It sucks that I had to do it but it was that or get rid of the phone since I live by my calendar synced from Outlook.

CNET said this phone lives up to its name, so I was sold. There are great qualities to it and it does do many things, but all the complaints people have are valid. For me, it flunks as a phone....problems answering and hanging up (even after installing No Lock) and poor to mediocre call quality.

Get the extended battery for the phone. That will give you a longer lasting battery.

It's a terrific phone. It's fast, powerful, does stuff other phones can't do, and it takes SD cards to increase capacity. It's as sweet as it gets, and although I had some issues after 2.2, it's working without a hiccup now. You'll see complaints on these boards primarily because people jump on here to see if they can get their problems fixed, and it works sometimes. I received two emails from Verizon techs concerning my Froyo issue, and although they couldn't help me, I was happy to know I could get help without running to the store.

 

I hope you're phone continues to perform better than a MotoRokr!

I totally agree with original post.  This phone is INCREDIBLE! Especially after the update! Yes, AFTER THE UPDATE! I can now watch my favorite program on my phone thanks to the full flash support! I can now save apps to SD card! After the update, my phone works just as it was  meant to work with the update. Sorry to hear about ppl's phone not working properly, for me IT'S JUST NOT THE CASE! I never had FROYO taste this delicious!!! Keep this thread positive! PLEASE!
