How do you get rid of the news feeds off the phone after they are read? If you go to the "social network" app, you see the feeds going back to when the phone was activated. I am sure that this useless data will help drain the battery.

Having extra data work affect your battery, but it may kill your internal memory eventually. I don't have the D2, but I do have a suggestion. First try hitting menu while in the social network app and see if there are some settings you can change.
