Factory Reset

If I do a factory reset on my X when I activate it again will I be able to get the most recent update of Android (Gingerbread I think) or will it go back to the version I had when I bough the phone?

The "factory reset" will refresh your phone with whatever version of the operating system you currently have on the phone.
