Starting 10/14/2010, Verizon Wireless is introducing Field Force Manager on select Android smartphones.

 FFM on Android provides a more efficient experience for the mobile worker, increasing productivity and resource utilization with the organizing and search capability of the Android platform. 

 Enhancements of the Android FFM application include:

    • Touch-screen design
    • Easier navigation
    • Quick access to application features
    • New, colorful, intuitive icons
  • Integration with Google Maps, now bringing map and navigation capability to FFM Basic
  • Enhanced search functionality that helps users find
    • Jobs
    • Locations
    • Messages
    • Forms
  • Integration with barcode scanning application
    • Eliminates the need to carry separate barcode scanning devices
    • Provides the ability to scan 1D/2D bar codes via built-in camera and free application
    • Places barcode information directly on forms
    • Supports numerous barcode formats
