Even after the 2.2 update I cannot get flash to download from the Market place nor can I install it on the root directory and get it working. Any help would be great.

Do you have the FRG22D version of Froyo on your phone? The original OTA update was 22B and did not allow you to see flash in the market. If you don't have 22D you can get it from several reliable sites and install it yourself.
How would I check to see if I had that download? I can see the download in the market but it doesn't ever download.
I tried to download it manually but when I tried the fix it told me the esignature couldn't be verified and didnt update.
You can follow the link below to check the updates available to you. If you don't receive the update FRG22D, then it did not come available your device.
