Flaw in Droid Mini?

So all of the collateral says that the Droid Mini has a standard TFT screen, where the Moto X, Droid Ultra/Maxx have AMOLED. If the Droid Mini still supports the Active Display, this is going to destroy the battery as TFT screens require the entire backlight to fire even for a single pixel, whereas AMOLED allows each pixel to light independently. Can anyone comment on this?

Since the phone hasn't been released yet, I highly doubt any of us customers would have an idea at this point.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I think that the 11 of them that were ordered and built  , 9 were defective...

I think that screen power use has increased so well lately that battery life will be fine.
