Forwarding received text messages

**bleep** question. How do I forward a  received text message that has a a picture in it to another cell phone or e-mail address? I do not see a forward option on the pop up menu while in text like I have hade with previous phones. My phone is a Droid X

I haven't tried forwarding an MMS message, but on the X, you long-press the message you want to forward and a window will pop open offering several options, among them being the option to forward that message.

Try this, if you haven't already, with your MMS message.

Ooh, I just remembered, this works with the Handcent
messaging app. Not sure about the stock app.

Okay, I just tried the long-pass method on an MMS message in my inbox, both in the stock app and in Handcent. So that should be the working method.

1. Open contact messages in threader view.

2. Press and hold on message

3. Select Forward.

4. Enter contact info to foward to...

5. Send

When I lon hold on the message all that comes up is open conversation, Resend unsent messages, Delete converstaion, which one do I choose to forward the messge
