Actually, I just looked into it and there is a post on Droid Life that shows what appears to be an official Verizon Wireless screen. On said screen, it has the End of Life data for existing phones. Here is the link:

The screen does indicate that on 3/31/11, both the Droid X and Droid 2 will be sent to the Glue Factory.
Now, this just means Verizon will stop selling them. I imagine by then, they will have something newer and better than the DX or the D2. If you believe the Droid Fan Sites, there are rumors of a 2GHz Android phone although no manufacturer will step forward. A 2GHz Droid would be in line with the processing demands of Android 3.0 (i.e. Honeycomb).

Where do they com from??? I agree with your Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday post in the Lame thread. We can only hope but it looks promising.
