Folks, we should all be enjoying the update at some point in the next 2 weeks.

It is a gradual rollout, which allows for towers not to be overloaded.

If you are impatient, there are alternatives, but none of them I would recommend.  Thus, we all  wait like in Disney World where you cant see the front of the line until you are there.

My main concern is that call quality issues are not addressed.  That is the rumor.

I understand rolling out gradually and I can wait really but are they rolling out 5 at a time or 10k at a time or what. Im just more curious to why out of all t he peeps that got the 2.2 none has a vzw forums acc and I understand not all peeps do it but if their rolling out 10k or what not at a time at least one of those are bound to have a vzw.acc and let us know but soooo far none as came forth.

I have been checking all of the other forums including XDA and doesn't seem like many people have it. i just spoke to a tech who said OTA updates usually span over a week but it was definetly released yesterday. He said he had a person with 3 DROIDS on one account and one phone got it and the other 2 did not until a few days later. He took a guess that they may roll out via ESN number. So who knows.

And ive check big forums framcire and ive seen maybe one person has it so.if you can lead me to.the other.forums were there all saying they got it id be happy. All I was saying like I said its weird and I understand not all would sign up here. But youd think at least one of those 200k would. Look at you your here..

I am here and I have seen a dozen or so people confirm they have it.

I am prepping my phone for froyo.  I want to make it a new device.  So, I have taken the time to backup things, erase apps I dont ever use, and save my camera pics to my computer.

I figure I should expect the update by next Sunday.  Any sooner is a bonus.  I wouldnt be shocked to see a lot of people start reporting getting it this weekend.
