Froyo update

I've been reading the forums and i have to say that I cannot agree more with most of the users. Now on the other hand I don't wasn't some rushed piece of crap, I would like them to delivery great software in an respectable timely fashion. Froyo is really the only reason that I purchased an X, so the wait has been a big disappointment but verizon and motorola both still say by the end othef the summer. Hopefully that will hold true or you can expect a call for me to return my device because its useless to me without the flash update.

the sales rep told me they are already releasing it now .. but i feel like most reps may be lying ..

And most of them are but it only because they have no idea themselves just trying to pacify the customers. We won't know for certain until there is a notification on your phone.

Reps are not lying because they just do not know.

 

The phone has been released for almost 2 months now. They promised late summer and until those dates pass, then they have not failed to deliver on their promise.

 

If patience is a virtue, it is one you most assuredly one you do not possess.

Really?? Useless to you without Flash update....the bathroom stalls at work must get really lonely.

 

You ruined a perfectly reasonable post with that last statement about returning it, and it being useless.

I don't get people, if you are not happy and within the 30 daysm. Reurn it for a droid 2? I can't wait to see the posts here aboht people complaining about how 2.2 bricked their phone. Let motorola work out the bugs so we can get a good clesn update.
