Bought the X, waited two weeks got a defective unit.
Ordered Replacement, waited two weeks... got a good unit.
Used my X for about 3 weeks...
It was stolen today....
Contacted Asurion.. I should have my replacement X by 9/8.
I bet everyone thought that this would be one of those, "I hate this device..." blah blah blah posts. I am genuinely saddened by my X being stolen today and cannot wait to get my replacement later this week.

Stolen huh? That really bites. On the good note you had insurance on the phone so are getting a new phone. All ends well!
By the way for the feautre, you may want to consider installing the GPS status app (free in the market). You can track a phone when it is lost.

Hi, Great. Topic swerve, you've been warned...
I downloaded the GPS Status app. It's a cool app, but how do you set it to be tracked in case the phone is stolen?
Thanx,

Sorry wrong app. It is actually called GPS Tracker. There is also the app called AntiDroidTheft which has the ability to "view position of phone using GPS''.

Yeah. I had planned to install a security app that would allow me to track it, but just never got around to it. When the new one comes first thing I plan on doing is installing WaveSecure. Will give me the ability to lock, wipe, backup and track the phone remotely. The guy at motorola had suggested Google's Latitude as well, says it basically is a free way to track phones.
