I wanted to log onto my Gmail account from my PC and could not remember the password.
I used the Gmail feature to change my password.
Then GMAIL sync on my HTC Incredible stopped working.
I believe that it has something to do with change in my password.
But I searched high and low on the phone and could not find any settings menu or any feature that allowed me to reset the gmail password on the phone.
Could anyone tell me how to do it. Step to step instructions would be great.

Have you tried signing in from your phone? You may need to power cycle before doing so, this will allow the new password to register. The steps for signing in are below. Hope this helps!
From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
Touch Gmail.
Touch Menu.
Touch Accounts.
Touch Add account.
Touch Google.
Touch Next.
Touch Sign-in
Enter the existing Gmail account information in the appropriate fields then click Sign in.
does not work for me. It says account alreday exists.
I would like first like to thank the community for your input regarding this issue. I understand how this is affecting everyone because receiving your e-mail in a timely manner is very important. Tonyciaf and others experiencing this issue, I would like you to check the setting for your sync options to ensure there enabled. I have listed a link below with steps to check your phone settings.
