GPS

I'm having problems with GPS. It locks right away, however it shows my location approximately 5 miles from my actual location.

I have on all the location services, including wifi.

Is this the best GPS is on the Incredible 2. I am running Android 2.3.3 and have only added Swype.

Good morning cactusjumper.  

What GPS application are you using?  (ex. Google Maps, VZ Navigator, apps from the Market.)  What locks up right away, the application or the device?  Has it been accurate in the past?  If you are using Google Maps or an app from the Market, try using VZ Navigator.  If your location is still inaccurate, the issue is with the device and we will need to troubleshoot; however, if it is only with the 3rd party application, you can contact them, (Google), about this issue for troubleshooting the application.

try an app like gps status to see how many sats your getting

vzw location services and wifi are very innacurate, it requires several sats to get a good lock
