Gingerbread Update

The gingerbread update should be rolling out on JUNE 27.

Here's proof:

"Hello this is Evan from Verizon NRB

Just got home from work. We had a meeting today and our manager quickly mentioned 2.3 push for the incredible. We were told the push will begin this coming Monday and it will be the FINAL software update for the Inc. I also found out that the image is already setup on the distribution servers and is ready to be deployed."

Not sure why everyone is looking for the Gingerbread update.  It is loaded with bloatware even more than what you have now and you will be unable to remove it.  I did have a droid X but after gingerbread,  it would not make calls most of the time, texting would not go 75% of the time.  And the bloatware would update everyday and the data usage for me doubled in 2 weeks.  I will not be updating again.  After all the force down your throat when you own the phone looking now at the Iphone.

What update did you get??? My bloatware went DOWN after updating to GB on my X. I was able to remove all those apps that Verizon pre-installed.

Well, it is now July 8 and there is no sign of GB.  Anyone have any additional information regarding this?  I am one of those people who want the latest software updates for the gadgets I have.

June 10, not even a speck of hope for the Droid Incredible...not sure what the big deal is I used the l e a k e d  r o m and it seems almost unchanged. I prefer to use gingersense r o m s with Sense 3.0.
