I currently have the Droid 2 Global and last week, it automatically did the update to 2.3.3 Gingerbread. Ever since then, my phone has become SO FREAKING SLOW!!!!! 
It's unbearable! It takes forever just to even open my text messages and even longer to get my camera to open, which has caused me to miss out on quite a few pictures. There is also a huge lag in sending texts now. It takes about 2-3 seconds for my text to show up on the screen after I hit send and there is also a couple of seconds of lag for letters to show up on the sreen after I have typed them. Before the update, my phone ran great and everything was always instantaneous, but it's like Gingerbread has totally bogged it down. I haven't installed any new apps since well before the update, so I know that's not the problem. My husband has the Droid 3 and his is running 2.3.4 and it works great, but of course it's much newer and faster than my phone. I still have my upgrade discount available on my line, which I was going to wait a little while to use, but this is forcing me to use it now and I'm going to order an iPhone next week.
I hate this. I loved my phone before this update! Has this happened to anyone else with a Droid 2????
