I've had my Droid HTC Droid Incredible) for about 4 months...never had a problem with my Gmail, talk or data space until now. Then suddenly...my phone was unable to detect my time zone and put my phone ahead 4 hours. Next thing I know, a "low on space" notification appeared when I know I'm not low on space. No matter how many photos, texts or apps I deleted, still the "low on space" notification shows up. Also, my gmail will no longer sync so I'm unable to receive or send any new emails. My google talk won't work either, won't even open when I try to open it. I do NOT want to reset my phone to factory settings and lose everything. I know this is a glich with the phone and I know the three are intermingled (low data, gmail and google talk not functioning), but how can I fix it without "starting over?"

And now my texting won't work due to the "low on space" notification! So frustrating!

Go to settings > applications > manage applications > all tab > scroll down to the Dialer Storage. Select it. Press the clear data button.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thank you Ann154 for your reply. You can also delete the cache for each application that you use the most. This can be done by selecting your Menu, Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, select the most used application and choose to Clear cache and Clear data.
Thank you,

I'm having these exact same issues and i tried the fix suggested by AraceliT_VZW and nothing changed. I feel like I started having these issues when my phone automatically updated its software. I had had the phone for over a year before it did this and I never had any problems. What can I do now?

I, too, had exactly these problems with my Droid Incredible, and was able to fix it. Here's the story:
Each application that you install takes up a certain amount of the phone's internal memory, unless you install it on your SD card. If you have enough applications installed, then eventually you can get a low memory warning. This was the first thing I noticed. I then noticed that my gmail had stopped syncing. Upon further investigation, I learned that sync will not operate if there is a low memory condition. Other things appeared not to work either: contacts wouldn't sync, nor would my calendar. And some applications that generate notifications stopped doing so. I suspect there are other side effects as well that may not be as obvious.
Eventually I found a posting on the HTC website about this problem. Following the advice given there, I went in and started moving the applications using the most space to my SD card. After moving about a half dozen, suddenly my phone started buzzing and beeping like crazy - it was syncing and generating notifications that had been stored up for over a month! The problem appears to be solved, at least for the moment. If you don't have a lot of space on your SD card, you may have to uninstall some apps to resolve the problem. If that's what you end up having to do, you might want to consider getting a larger SD card so you can reinstall the apps you want.
