I recently received a replacement Droid Phone. Previous droid ws set up the way I wanted. Now triing to customize my dashboard and cannot remember or figure out , how can I remove the Google search bar from the desktop of my Dorid. There is also an app that must have beeen on the phomne bfore I got it showing the weather on on of the other screens that I cannot remove. I have gone into the applicaiton manager for both running and not running and hit the button showing force close but the search bar still shows and it does not close appdos not close it Any help would be appreciate. thank you

you can try clicking on the bar and HOLDING it and drag it to the garbage can that comes up when you click & hold an app.
Other than the google search came with the phone and if you really want to get rid forever, you have down load an app killer.
