Google voice SMS notifications

Google voice SMS notifications are  MOSTLY not coming or are delayed hours. This started 10/4/10. I made no setting changes & everything was working perfectly before this for months.

 

Running v 0.4.1.26 of the Google voice app

 

Problem is happening on my droid x with 2.2 and my wife's droid inc with 2.2

 

Posting to other forums show this problem also started for others on 10/4/10 in the evening.

Is this a Verizon problem? Google problem?

Close the app and do a soft reset on the phone. After you complete the soft reset, dial *228 option 2. I have provided the steps below to complete the soft reset. 
 
Press and hold the Power button.
Touch Power off.
Press and hold the Power button to power on the device.
