Got my Froyo

Downloaded Android 2.2 this morning. Except for some icon differences, such as the unlock button, I notice no difference, yet,

I like the way the Gallery is set up. I did notice a couple of new (probably undeletable) apps in the Apps Tray. One is okay by me, and that's the Google Weather/News Apps. Maybe now I can delete Weatherbug, which never really worked that well for me. Have fun all you Droid Xites with the new system. Let's hope it goes well.

Got mine too!!!  I am noticing an increase in touch responsiveness and my screen looks nicer ( I thought it was already nice).  I have the live aquarium app on it and before the upgrade it was slightly sluggish, but now it looks very fluid almost 3D like. The biggest deal is flash for me.  I tried it out on different websites and it works great.

I can't stress enough, I LOVE my phone.

Hope everyone else got their updates.

So far, it seems to be going better for us than it did for the Droid Incredible folks.

But the day ain't over. Guess we well know more tonight.

Wow i'm not really hearing of anyone else on here having issues like myself.

I downloaded the update early this morning and since I have downloaded it nothing is working properly.

I shut down my wifi but the widget says its still on even when I trash it and re add it,

Several widgets are not working properly like my android power widget

everything is extremely slow / screen freezing

My fiance called me and I cant end the call now and that was 20 minutes ago.

I cannot power off,

I've had to take the battery out three or four times.

My phone does not seem to like the udpate at all.

I dont know what to do.

I don't know if I have been waiting for this so anxiously that to me my screen looks more vivid and the colors pop out more, it's very responsive now too.  I'm loving it.  I noticed a few new apps as well, like QuickOffice.  It took me 20 minutes to download and install. 

Unfortunately can't play much with it at work and can't wait to get home and try it out.  Who knows maybe I'll come down with something LOL and go home, j/k

Might be best to call VZW support on this one as it appears the update may have been corrupted and a reset to factory orignal settings might be needed.
