I'm part of a group email list - sending a message to a particular email address automatically forwards it to everyone on the distribution list. Whenever I receive a message sent to that distribution list I cannot see the body of the message, although I can see the subject line. Instead, it arrives as an attachment, which I have to download and then open with an html viewer. Does anyone know of a setting on the Droid X that I can change or is this a problem with the standard mail app on the Droid?

Good Afternoon cszsanjose,
I appreciate your interest in using group messaging function on your Droid X. Have you tried checking your message settings to ensure it is set to auto-retrieve messages? Is this happening with individual messages as well? Is it happening with text messages or also with picture and video messages too? We are not reporting any known issues with the group messaging function or the standard messaging app on the Droid X. I have included additional links below to assist you.
Message Settings: http://bit.ly/GFllVK
Additionally, please verify your software is up to date. The most current version is: 4.5.621.MB810.Verizon.en.US
I hope this information is helpful in resolving your concerns.
Sincerely,

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for writing back. There's no problem with individual messages or text messages. The only time the problem occurs is when someone sends an email that's forwarded on through a distribution list. In other words when someone sends an email to group@emailaddress.com which forwards to everyone on the distribution list. Those emails I receive as attachments. Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Jeff
