Ok, so on your phone press the menu key, the first hard key on the left if you are holding the phone as if you are talking on it and the last key on the bottom if you are holding the phone in landscape mode.
1) touch "Settings"
2) scroll to "Accounts" and touch it
3) touch "Add account"
4) find your account type and touch it (I have 3 e-mail accounts that I use on my phone: G-mail, Yahoo, & Corporate Sync (my work e-mails))
5) then you will just have to enter & set-up each different e-mail account using the account settings. For most of them you just enter your e-mail address & password.
There you go!!!
Post here if you have any problems.

I set up my email account as indicated. It is through bell south Powered by Yahoo... what ever that means, any way I receive emails from this account but it seems I am having trouble replying to them from My Droid x. It looks like the replys are going out but when I check the sent items they are all still in there. I sent a test email to myself and it never went through.
Also, even though I deleted several I thought I had replied to from the inbox on the phone, it did not delete them from the email inbox when I accessed my email from my office computer.
Any ideas on what I need to do on either of these issues?

You need to check with Bell South to make sure that you can send an email from a different network. I have Charter Communications email, and if I am not on their network (not home) then I cannot send email from Outlook.
The same applies with my Droid. If I setup my Charter email account on my Droid, and if I am not on WiFi at home, I cannot send email from my Droid. This is a security feature to keep spammers from trying to use Charter resources to send out spam.
By the way, the phrase "Powered by Yahoo" is just a setting in the Windows Registry. Yahoo really doesn't have anything to do with your Bell South email account.

Call the provider of your email account and ask them for their smtp server information. If you have the correct information you shouldn't have any problems sending email.

I have the requisite gmail account but also an AOL account and my corporate email account. Is there a way that I can access my AOL and corporate account without having to change the default each time? Thanks for your help.

You can set up the "Universal Inbox" to sync whatever e-mails you want into 1 location.

Do you have the X? You were successful setting up your corporate email? Is it Exchange? I have had no problems with aol or gmail. I bought the phone for the active sync so I would not have to pay the extra 15 that VZ charges for BB phones.
Thanks for any info
