My battery went dead on my phone. I plugged it into charge. I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on. OK, I thought maybe the battery needed to charge a bit. Well, it's been charging for over 2 hrs. It still won't turn on. I tried taking the phone apart and taking the battery out and putting it back in. That didn't work. I can't tell if it's charging. I'm assuming it is. But I can't get it to turn on. Has anyone had this problem? Nothing happened to the phone other than me letting it go completely dead. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

If your battery went completely dead it needs a FULL charge, or roughly 12 to 14 hours. A few hours will NOT touch it. Also, as Ann154 said, you must use the wall charger to give it the full charge. Anything else is like putting a drop of gasoline in a 10 gallon tank and hoping it gets you at least 50 miles....ain't going to happen.
