Connectivity problem....can't verify kind or status...just says roaming. Trying to video chat with TANGO from Paris to US. Used tango in US no problem....wondering if data problem, what to try different

Need a few details!
1) Is this using Wifi, or are you trying to use cellular connections?
2) If cell, are you using the Vodafone SIM that came with the phone? Did you contact Global Services to get them to activate it? And do the *228 before leaving? If it's a foreign SIM, have you entered the APN correctly?
Some people have experienced issues with the Vodafone SIM not being activated (even though they were told it was) and some others have had data issues with some foreign SIMs.
If you are using Wifi, does other stuff work (e.g. can you get to Google, amazon.com etc)?

Using cell connection today, set up global services before leaving US, can text back and forth okay, called Verizon to verify set up and they said ok. Going to try wifi spot in a few hours when it's daylight in paris.
