I definitely believe the Incredible will be released March/ Early April. Info keeps rolling in every day. After the Incredible showed up on VZW's system, there were some leaked pics from a HTC phone testers personal flickr account. There was a bunch, I posted the two with the HTC feedback screen and the Incredible Screen. We will be getting alot more info over the next couple of weeks, but Verizon will be getting a ! gig Android operating HTC phone with a bunch of goodies wraped up inside...including HTC Sense UI!!!!

It looks absolutely awesome, and I personally cannot wait to get my hands on one. I was deadset on the Nexus One at first, but having a phone like this directly from Verizon will be fantastic.
I also heard that the rumored RAM at 256 is 512 instead.

Ya I hope it does come with 512 instead of the early reports of 256 megs of ram. If they do leave it at 256 megs of ram, it could mean they don't want to take away any possible sales from the N1 if it comes out around the same time. I could see this one showing up on VZW subsidized and the N1 not subsidized as was reported earlier as a possibility for the N1.
Either way this is good news. I am ready to toss this BB 8830 out the window.

Just out of curiousity, where did you hear this? I haven't found anything yet that has reported more than 256.

I first read it from androidforums.com where they have a thread dedicated solely to the Incredible (http://androidforums.com/htc-incredible/42916-official-htc-incredible-thread.html). This was the same site that initially put the link to the leaked inventory screen shot yesterday early afternoon (berryscoop) before it took off and was captured and credited by every other techno blog.
I must say, a lot of what they're saying there is pure speculation and deduction based on some of the reported internal workings of the Incredible (i.e. Sense, an estimated 5 (or more) megapixel camera, HD video capture, and the snapdragon processor). They also mentioned that they couldn't imagine a top-line device such as the Incredible having less RAM than the Eris.
All that said, I also found a reference on another site yesterday, but I have done so many searches now, I can't remember how to find the site to link it for you. Once I do, I will be sure to put it here.

Yes, if you do find anything else out, please post it. The Eris has more RAM than the proposed Incredible does? I didn't know that. It would be very strange if the Incredible did in fact have less RAM since this would now be the newest and best phone from HTC (for VZW).

to find even more information on the Incredible, you can do a google search for "adr6300" (Verizon Item Number). A lot of the information that pulls up is in Japanese, but using google translation, you can see a lot of the info is spot on to what we are learning now. This is also how people started finding Flickr photos taken by the 6300 by HTC testers and calculating the camera's capabilities based on the resolution of the photos.
I tried to do a search for the PB31200 (which some are saying is the HTC item designation for the Incredible) but haven't found anything that we haven't already heard.
Also, found this link. Take a look at the comments below that talk about RAM capacity - although I wouldn't take this as a reliable source (and not the original site I mentioned where I saw the information in a previous post)

One of the last comments on that blog bothered me a bit. Someone mentioned that the BB Tour first hit Verizon's inventory in March of 2009 but wasn't actually released until July 2009. If that's accurate and if Verizon does the same thing now, that means we may not see it until mid-summer.

I saw some similar postings about the Tour 2, Storm 2, etc. I would say on average there is a 6-8 week timeframe that we should expect based on what I've seen. Hopefully won't have to wait until Summer!
Saw that you're in Fairview Heights. One of my good buddies lives there.

Guys most of the links are stating 256 RAM why? Because they all get their info from the same source, usually a leak from a phone tester or an employee . It is never certain when we get drips and drabs of unoffical info. Think about it logically, a phone that is running a 1 gig processor, HD recording, HTC Sense UI, a 5 mp camera, and only 256 RAM. I don't think so. I will be willing to bet that the Incredible will be released with at least the same amount of RAM as the Nexus One and the HTC Desire.

The reason the Tour was delayed had nothing to do with Verizon, It was on RIM's side.

Next time Nimigo signs on, she'll see that her views went from probably about 12 today to over 350.

saw your post on the N1 release date. If only we could get the confirmed specs of the Incredible as well as a release date, I will be a happy man.

I sure hope that the fugly reddish-brown, awkward shaped back cover is just a prototype and will be replaced with something normal looking before it is released.
