HTC Incredible will not update to 2.3

Hi, my problem is pretty much as I've stated it.  My phone is stuck at version 2.2, the update should have been pushed long ago if I understand correctly, and when I go to "about phone" it tells me my version is up to date. Anyone else havign this problem?

HTC is in the works of an update to the one they re-leased in September so hang in there it will be out soon. Exact Time it's Up n the Air but it is coming Thats all i was Told

And i was one of the one's that got it an that wished in some ways i had'nt got it. so be luck you did'nt get it because it's caused more issues after being Installed than it Helped. And i'd gladdley take Fro-Yo back any Day.  But that said i'm puting up with it. One day at a Time    B33

My daughter just got the update tonight for her phone  11/14/2011 but I can't update mine.  We are on the same plan so I don't know what the problem is? 

Anyone suggestions?

I just got the 2.3.4 update notice now and it won't allow me to update either. It says mine is up to date with v2.2 in the system settings.

Well, for an update I was finally prompted to update and was brought to 2.3.4 successfully....but I'm back to having the notorious low space warnings that resulted in my original Incredible being replaced.  Sigh...  But I see on http://community.vzw.com/t5/DROID-Incredible-by-HTC/Gingerbread-Update-for-HTC-Droid-Incredible/td-p...  that we should be on or getting 3.0 soon? Can anyone confirm?
