I want this application back, it was one of the primary reasons that I picked this model of phone. The Adobe Reader is missing features that I had in the HTC PDF Viewer, and I do not see why I should to to the App Store and pay for something that was originally on my phone when I purchased it.
I am still waiting for someone to explain to me why Verizon or HTC randomly decided to break my phone. It's as if I bought a car from you with a high-end stereo, then woke up the next day to find you had broken into my garage and swapped the stereo out for a factory AM model.

Adobe did release a adobe reader that is available on the market, but the last I looked it was free.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

When you update Adobe Reader it will update to Adobe Reader X and you get all the features you were missing. (text search)

The last update was horrible. I lost a bunch of stuff. I got back everything when I rebooted but the pdf viewer, its still missing . I never backed this app because it came with the phone. I went to the htc web site but can't find anything about a pdf viewer app there. What happened?? Is verizon going to fix the problem and get the viewer back? Do they not test these updates before they release them?

I am surprised to hear this. I thought I used it today, So I just tried, and I was able to view a .pdf. I sent one to me also and it worked fine also.
Unless a pdf viewer is different than a reader, but I would not think so. What options are missing?

budone...you are prolly viewing from the actual adobe reader. there used to be a pdf app (not adobe) that had some different options. i only used it a couple times so i'm not sure what all the features were....just that the app is no longer on my device. i'm sure they did away with it since we now have the actual adobe version, but they aren't exactly the same as far as use, function, and feel.
