So I just heard about a security issue with stock sensed phones such as the Evo 4G and the HTC Thunderbolt. I tried googling it and it listed a few more phones but I didnt see HTC Droid Incredible or even Droid Incredible 2.
What is a stock Sense phone or is Droid Incredible affected?
Thanks
PS. Basically an app will have a certain ability to take almost everything from your phone and share it. Want me to give you a link to the security flaw story?

Before you get all worked up over the alert, it does cover all HTC Sense devices using Android from what I read (which would include the Incredible) but there is a fix in the works and you can read up on it at http://community.vzw.com/t5/ThunderBolt-by-HTC/HTC-to-release-urgent-privacy-fix-for-smartphones/td-...

Well, according to the original article:
it looks like it applies to "HTC latest software", and as we all know, for the most part, the Incredible does not, nor is there any signs on the horizon, an update to the "latest HTC software" - it was out, now has been pulled. And we have no idea when it'll be back out. Could be next week, could be next February. HTC and especially Verizon are silent.
