I'm generally happy with my Incredible, which seems to work as I expect in most cases. The biggest problem I have is trying to end a call. During the call, the screen goes blank, which I like. When I pull the phone away from my head, the screen turns on, which is great. But, it only stays on for (what seems like) a fraction of a second. After that, the screen goes blank again, and pressing the power button does not turn it back on (until either much time has passed, or the caller has hung up).
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to keep it lit up longer and/or to get the power button to work in this scenario? Thanks.
that seems like a glitch to me? when i pull the phone away from my ear the screen lights up and stays lit up until i end the call or put it back to my ear. i would take it in and have then look at it unless anyone else here knows of a possible timing setting where it could be set to go blank in a matter of seconds??? but i'm not aware of anything like that.
