Having trouble getting phone to authenticate Gmail and Aol passwords

I have both an AOL and a Gmail account, but for some reason, when I try to access my email, my phone tells me that it can't authenticate my passwords. HELP!

Have you tried to delete your accounts and reading them? Here are the steps to do so.
Adding an Email on Account:
>From the home screen, touch the Menu.
>Touch Email.
>Enter desired email address and password
>Tap Next
>Device displays checking settings and displays "Your account is setup"
>Give this account a name (optional)
>Enter the desired Email address and Password then touch next
Deleting an Email Account
>From the home screen, touch Mail
>Display should be in existing email box, touch Menu
>Touch More
>Touch Settings
>User will see below options:
- Account Settings
- General Settings
- Send & Receive
- Notification Settings
- Delete Account
