I currently have my number attached my to iphone. So the droid Im asking about is not attached to a number(keep this in mind)

Ive been trying to download ICS to my bionic(over wifi) and it will download but will not install. Does it need to be attached my to number to install? I called VZW and they said I could update it over wifi w/o being attached to a number but Im starting to think that might be wrong.

I should mention that it was ****** when I was using it and since then I have ******** it, gone back to stock, and also factory reset the phone... still wont work.

I may be able help you with this problem, as it sounds like the problem I had:

  1. Go over to the Motorola Bionic Forum and register there.  (be patient -- the site is extremely slow to load for some reason).
  2. Send me a message, to the same username as I have here, and we can discuss it.
