Downloaded the google maps update recently and the "layers" option has totally disappeared from the menu, botth pages of it. So I can't add the traffic layer on the map. Which is what I use it for pretty much daily. It does have traffic on the navigation, but really I like the map better.
Does anyone know what happened to the layers?
On my map the layers icon is on the top by the google search bar. Hope you can find it there.

I haven't used my Google maps for awhlie so after your post, I checked. Mine has the layers icon on the top next to the pushpin for places and the search maps entry space. I tried it and it still works. Just got a ( manual ) update for Maps a couple days ago.
I still wish Google would adjust navigation to allow deleting saved destinations without uninstalling the entire app. It's free though...............
