Home button

I have only had my Droid X for a couple of months. I have notice lately when I press the Home button it does not take me back to the home screen. In fact it does not do anything. I try restarting the phone and/or taking the battery out. It solves the problem for a while. But it always starts to act up again. Anyone else experience this?

Sounds like you installed a app that is trying to take over the default home button setting. My suggestion is to either uninstall any lock screen or launcher apps and then try the home button. When a app is set to that button as default and the programmer didn't get the security settings right you will see this type of issues.
