How Accurate Should GPS Be on the Charge?

The GPS on my Charge is never more accurate than about 20 or 30 meters (yards) - which means the golf GPS package I purchased when I had my Fascinate is useless. The Fascinate was equally accurate to SkyCaddie and the Callaway GPS-based yardage finder.
Should I be able to expect better accuracy? Even my BlackBerry Tour had GPS good enough to use on the golf course.

Well i would want it right on the nose if your 10 feet from the pin to me that's what it should be. when you listed on here the Sky Caddy i would think because its maid especially for golf it would be your most accurate device is it not or are you trying to compare the Differance of your devices. On my Droid X when using google maps it shows were i'm at in our apt. when i'm turn in any direction an the accuracy of it is with in a few feet. But i would think that any Golf GPS Tool would be your best Bet as i'm sure they would have several courses in the device or you could pute your local course in by Via your Computer. But any hoo it would be neet to have one. And i like playing Tigerwoods golf on my WII i've got all three Titles Tigerwoods Tour No. 10 ,11 , an 12 were you can play at Augusta National. on Tour No. 11 i achieved the 25 Level. it is defiently a blast to play. !

GPS Satellites communicating to dedicated GPS Devices and Phones with GPS Chips are usually accurate to about 30 feet or less. There was an Jan 2011announcement that technology developed by Mitsubishi and Japan Aerospace could achieve 4 inch accuracy. but they used an addition JAXA Satellite to complement the signals obtained from the GPS Satellites.
