When I set up my Droid Charge I used the Email app that shows up on my home screen to add three Google apps accounts. I could read my email fine but later discovered that none of my email replies were being sent, and I could not compose new emails. After hours and hours of troubleshooting (and frustration) I learned that I should not have used the Email app but rather I should have used the Gmail app. So I set up all my google apps email address in Gmail and they work beautifully.
However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to delete those email accounts from the Email app. I have read instructions that talk about pressing the menu button (which is impossible from that app) and doing a long press and hold (which is also impossible.) I need to delete them because the apps look for email in both places and it really appears to be draining my battery.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think this will do it. Touch EMAIL on your home screen. Then touch the MENU button on the lower left corner of the phone. Then touch Accounts on the display. Then touch and HOLD (called a long press) the account you want to remove. When the next screen comes up choose Remove Account.
