I am wanting to post an ad on Craigslist for my boat which is located at my brother in law's house.  He has sent me several great pictures on my phone in text form....how do I get them transferred onto my home computer so I can post the ad on craigslist.

If you have solved your problem, GREAT  If not try this.

1) to save your photo to phone gallery,( tap on e-mail a box will appear )choose option ( save attachment to gallery.)

2) the pic. will be saved to photo gallery. not the e-mail.

3) use charger that came with phone, plug into phone, take the plug end off and it will plug into computer (USB)

3) all of your photos will appear. its a good ideal to go ahead and save all photos,( in case you lost phone or broke it etc.)

4) just click( mark all) from menu, and save to photos.

5) you are ready to post your photo .

I put my comment into steps, so I wouldn't leave anything out. Hope your not offended.      hope this helps,

why not download a craigslist app and upload directly from the phone?

I don't like the Craigslist app - I find it really hard to type text on the phone because of my arthritis.

I have a Dell with Windows 10 - how do I plug it in? All I have is the USB w/mini to charge it on the computer that came with it.

the charging cable can be plugged into your computer via USB port. typically a dialogue window appears that will present you with some options once recognized

I plugged it in and it immediately started downloading photos from my phone - didn't get a choice of downloading attached photos from text messages. I think this is a lost cause. I tried a craigslist app - but it would never let me post the ad, and it wouldn't recognize my existing account on craigslist. Maybe I'm not meant to sell the boat. But, thank you for the help.

if it's automatically importing the photos try tapping on the attached photo and save it to your phone and then plug it in

Thank you so much. Very helpful...and I love step by step. I'm 70, and I'm not as smart as my phone obviously.
