Can you clearify better, what do you mean by lock and saving text messages, are you wanting to save as a file or just have it so it cant be deleted... A little more information please...
My guess is he's asking how to save a text message for later use. Like on a windows Mobile phone, if you get a call while composing a text mesage, the message gets saved to the "drafts" folder.

For saving text messages check out the app called SMS Backup by Christoph Studer. That backs up your text messages to your gmail account. I use the app called SMS Backup by Michele Valentini. That will backup & restore text messages to your device to an xml file stored on the sd card.
For locking text messages, there may be an app in the market to do this. There is handcent SMS available. In the description reads "security lock options". Maybe the app provides locks text messages. Not sure though. If someone that uses the app could tell then that'd be great
