After update and doing swipe I cannot get to any apps or dialer. Cannot get response from keys, so cannot go to setup, menu, or apps. Can hold menu button at startup to get to safe mode, but get only black screen with words Safe Mode. But no response from keys so cannot get to settings or any diagnostics.

From the Motorola support site I found that with the update, you use both up & down volume keys, instead of the old method of using the Search key to bring up the recovery menu. With that was able to "wipe data/factory reset"

Take the phone to the store for support.
