I purchased a couple of ringtones from VZN store and only one came through on the Text Message. I followed the instructions to save it to my phone but the options do not give me a "Save" option. Therefore, it doesn't show up in my Ringtones under settings. How do I fix that?

You can use any (supported) audio file as a ringtone/notification by creating folders on your sd card. Make a folder named "ringtones" and one made "notifications". Any audio files you place in those folders will show up as options when selecting ringtones or nofication sounds.

This might sound stupid, but how do I access the SD card? And how do I create folders? Does my phone need to be plugged into my computer to do those things?

Also, if you're really into RINGTONES, you should check out various APPS that help you create them and offer a bunch for free. A good APP is RINGLERT in market.

It's not at all stupid. You do not have to plug into a computer to do it, but you can if you want to.
There should be an app in your app drawer call "Files". Once in the app select "Phone files" and you will see the files on your SD card. If you then press your menu button (the one on the far left with the four squares) you will get a pop up menu with the option to create a new folder.
To move files around, simply long press on a file and select "move". Then navigate whereever you want the file to be located and use the button on the bottom of the screen to move it there.
To acess your SD card from a computer, use the USB cord that came with the phone. Once your phone is connected, there should be a USB symbol on your notification bar. Drag the bar down and touch the USB notification to bring up a menu, and be sure to select the "Mass storage" option. Now your computer should see your SD card as a drive.
