I am unable to send a video message since downloading the Droid X update last week.

Before the update, I could send videos in 15 sec. clips.  Now, I cannot send one at all...it says "message size limit reached"  what does that mean and how can I fix the problem so that I can send a short video via text message? I have shortened the video to 10 seconds and it still will not send.    If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it!  :smileyhappy:

There are size restrictions in what you can send ...  not sure why it worked before and not now for the same size though.  What is the actual size of the file you're trying to send???  You can upload to YOUTUBE and share from there - and YOUTUBE accepts larger files.

Give this a shot please. Launch your camcorder app and once it loads choose the menu and select video modes. Please select video message. It appears as normal video is the default.

As a follow up I was able to send a one minute video by using video message. Not great quality but it works. Tried to send a 20 second video by text message and I got the message that video size exceeded the limits.
