Hi. On my new Droid X I am unable to access my Google Calendar. I follow the instructions to add and sync the calendar but it does not appear under Accounts and I am unable to add it. Clearly I'm missing some important step. Can someone help me?

Thanks.

Thanks for the information

  1. From the home screen, select the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).

  2. Select My Accounts.

  3. Select the appropriate Gmail account.

  4. Select any of the following Data & synchronization options:
Note Enabled when a green check mark is present.
Note To enable auto-synchronization, navigate Applications tab > Settings > Data manager > Data Delivery then select Background data (enabled when a green check mark is present).
    • Sync Calendar
    • Sync Contacts
    • Sync Gmail
  5. If necessary, perform a manual synchronization.
    1. Select Menu.

    2. Select Sync now.

I am not sure what you mean that it does not show under Accounts?   The calendar is attached to your Google account and that is what should show under the accounts menu, the account informaton will show up under the calendar app in launcher.

Under My Accounts you will see your Google account listed and to access the email you need to open the gMail app in launcher.

Under My Accounts it shows:

Phone

Backup Assistant

myname@gmail.com

Google

That's all.

That would be your gmail account, what happens when you select that account, does it show the options below and are all of them checked?
