Hey all!
I didn't get a manual with my Incredible! Grrrr.... Verizon is mailing one. In the meantime, I am wondering how to get ringtones. I do NOT have a Media App! I NEED my Green Day!! Please help! (haha)
Also, I am experiencing problems with texting--if I use the spell check, it chooses words that I do NOT want, and even though I don't have large thumbs, if I turn the spellcheck off, I can't get the proper letters to type!! It seems the letters next to the ones I want are popping up--even after calibration....... I'm frustrated beyond belief!
Any help is appreciated.....thanks!!

go to the app store. plenty of ringtone apps. just search for what you want. you should also be able to transfer tones, games, or other apps from your old phone to your new one (go to "my media" on your online verizon account....stuff that you previously downloaded "may be" available to transfer) also, the "full" manual does not come with the phone (as it is 208 pages). google it and you can find it online. i downloaded it (pdf file) to the phone so i can always look up stuff. however, i haven't found it too useful. i have zedge and ringdroid for ringtone apps. zedge has a bunch of tones to choose from and ringdroid is an app that you can acttually clip parts of tracks from music that's on your phone, to make your own ringtones. you select the a song on your phone, and then select a time segment from it (like 8 seconds of the chorus or refrain....or the drum solo that you like....or whatever).

Put the desired song in your music list. Then get the free app RingDroid. You can make a song from your music into a ringtone. If you want retrieve a ringtone from a text then here you go:
- Touch the desired message option and select Saves the ringtone to the phone.
