I just found a new feature (at least to me) for your photos.

In your APPs that came with GB 2.3.6 touch My Files.  Go to and touch DCIM, then touch Camera to see the list of your stored photos.

Next,  any photo you want to rename, copy, move, delete, share, or see the photo's details touch it and HOLD your finger on it.

The next screen that comes up shows the list of six things I just mentioned that you can do with your photos.  This list is much more comprehensive than simply choosing MENU and then MORE.

This is the best feature I've found in a month or two.  I find this VERY helpful and hope you do to.!

This is one of the things about Android that I love.  There are lots of "hidden capabilities".  It's kind of like a computer, click (press in android) something and it does it's main purpose, right click (long-press in android) it and might bring up a menu of other things you can do.

The coolest new feature I have found with my charge, since the update, is that it comes in very useful as a paperweight.

The flashlight app is good, when I need a light in the dark. Also, when it takes forever to boot up, I hold it and touch the screen as if it is working, as to keep up appearances.

Dirge80,

So, you're really that unhappy with the performance?  I assume you must be running the stock, unrooted, undebloated Gingerbread.  Personally, I found your bitter sarcasm kinda cute, but evidently not everybody does.   Anyway, I recommend that instead of cursing the darkness you just like a little candle inside your phone.   Root it, freeze the bloatware, and see if that doesn't improve the performance so that you can be happy with your phone.   If you need more, there are amazing people who can provide a new version of gingerbread 2.3.6 that is a big improvement over what Verizon provided us.   I have no idea why Verizon and Samsung think it's a good idea to overload the operating system with so much bloatware that we have to make adjustments so it works right, but evidently they're not the only ones doing this.  Good luck.
