Inbox and Sent Emails...where do they go?

I just got this Droid 3 phone today and I can't figure out why the emails I receive and send show up for only a few seconds and then disappear.  How do I access them, or make them stay until I choose to delete them? Thanks

What do you mean only show for up for few seconds?  Do you mean when you open the message it goes away, are you using the stock email app or a 3rd party app? Care to share more information?

I am using the stock email app which is sync'ed up with my corporate email.  My corporate helpdesk couldn't figure it out.  They said that the emails may be automatically going into a  folder, but I can't find them.

All your emails including your corporate emails should be found in your Droid 3's Universal Inbox. For easy instructions to access your Universal Inbox click on this LINK and select ACCESS THE UNIVERSAL INBOX option.
