Incoming call announces contact name

I am brand new to the Droid X.  I have been reading and reading trying to learn this thing so I apologize if this has been covered somewhere but I can't find it.

When the phone rings it announces the name of the contact who is calling on the speaker.  How do I shut the announcement off?

Have you tried: Menu -> Settings -> Call Settings -> Caller ID readout -> Ring Only ?

That was simple enough.   I can see I have a very long way to go to understand my new phone.
