Incredible 2 Randomly Going To A Black Screen

Sometimes, not every time, when I put my phone screen to sleep and awake it, the entire screen will be black and you can't see anything

You can still see the buttons light up, and the phone will still ring or vibrate, you just can't see anything. If you take the battery out, it will temporarily fix it.

I don't know why it would be doing this, I've only my new model for a month and a half. There is no water damage. I've even done a factory reset on the phone, still the same probably. This occurs more often outside in the sunlight, than outside but it still happens no matter what.
