Does anyone know how to sort the contact list on the incredible utilizing the last name first? it appears that it sorts it alphabetically using the first name UHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Other than changing last name to first, and first to last manually in every contact name - no. I don't believe you can change the name view on android/htc. Not saying it's not impossible through an app or something. As far as I know you can't. Took me a while to adjust myself. I was a last namer also.

Yes, you can do this, but unfortunately, it's one contact at a time. I don't know of a way to do it in bulk.
Open "People"
Select a contact name.
Press the Menu button and select "edit contact."
When the edit screen opens, touch the contact name at the top.
This is the screen where you can edit the contact's name.
You will see a "Display name" drop box. Your choices are "first name, last name" and "last name, first name."

I have been looking at this problem. Apparantly Froyo 2.2 solved this problem with a global tool, but for some reason Verizon's version does not include or is blocking this?
