After having a very heated conversation with the guy at verizon and his manager about receiving the 2.2 update he put us on 3 way call wit a rep from Motorola. That guy told me that they are doing it in a wave (not Verizon) and all be updated in 72 hours (never meet a deadline). He said that if I do not receive it in 72 hours, contact Motorola and they will try and resolve it manually.
