Thought I'd throw this in the thread.  This:

is being reported by multiple individuals in the comments section as being the HTC Desire that Verizon is getting next month.  If so, that means a bigger screen than we all thought/expected.  Whatever the hardware actually is, it's not gonna be the HTC Hero as that is clearly labeled a Sprint exclusive.

I went to the droid website and I noticed a countdown with alien numbers. I look at the constantly changing symbol and realized those are the seconds. Figuring out the number system it looks like it says 10 days 11 hours 37 Min. So is the droid coming out in 10 days?

alright figured the coundown out. it is derived from the clock on your computer. so if you change your computer to October 28, and go on droiddoes.com, the coundown clock will show all the same digit and will no longer count down. expect an anouncement or release on the 28th.
