Intalling retrieved ringtones

I just received the text message from Verizon media store with the ringtones I had on my old phone. What I can't figure out is how to install them on my Droid Incredible.

Anyone know how?

Found them!!!! They were in the music folder only you have to keep drilling down in the library until you get all music with no categories. Then it's just a matter of pressing menu and setting them as ringtones.

Thanks for all the help! You guys set me on the right path to figure it out!

Long press on the ringtone in your message or, if you have multiple, save them all to your sd card, then either connect your phone to the computer via usb, mount to your computer from the notification bar, or install a file manager app (I use ES file explorer).  Then you can find them on your sd card.  They should be in your downloads folder ( I think, you may have to hunt them down).  Create a new folder called media.  Inside this folder you can create ringtones, notifications, alarms.  Place your ringtones in the appropriate folder and you should be able to set them in the usual way.  (menu>settings>sound and display)

Try long pressing the message not the ringtone.  For some reason, some phones work one way and others a different way.

This time I got options, unfortunately, none of them apply.

The options are: view, delete, reply, forward, call, and save to people.

Do you think that maybe I should just call verizon and see if I can undo the retrieval and get a refund?

Can you play them (by selecting them)?  You might try that then, as it is playing, hit the menu button and see if options come up.  I haven't tried to download ringtones this way, so I am just throwing out options here.  Also, I don't use the default app.  However, I do know that pictures can be saved this way (by long pressing on the picture).

Thanks for the options! I tried the long press on a different part of the message and got more options. one was save audio. I pressed that for all the ringtones and it was successful. Problem is that I can't find them anywhere. I downloaded the ES File app and used it to look in the sd card but they're not there.

Where do are files saved on the phone?

There should be a downloads folder, or maybe messages/downloads, you may have to do some digging.

Just a word of caution! A ringtone that is placed in the music folder will play when you select to play all your music in the folder. Selecting "play all" literally plays all.

Thank you all for the information provided. If you are inquiring about the photo gallery, go to Menu > Gallery to view the saved pictures. If you are looking for the music select Menu > Music.
