Internet Explorer or Google

Can anyone give me a way to uninstall IE and exchange Google Chrome?  I've switched to it on my laptop and want to do the same on my Droid I.  Thanks, M

You can stop the running application for the default browser that came installed on your device. You can search the Android Market for a browser of your choice to use as your primary browser for accessing the web. 

• From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located in the lower-left).

• Touch Running services.
  
  
• Touch a service / application.
  
  
• Touch Stop.
